Saatvik Green Energy announced on Tuesday that it has secured an order worth ₹171.45 crore for the supply of solar modules for a utility-scale solar project.
The modules being provided are TOPCon Bifacial Glass-Glass Solar PV Modules, representing the latest generation of solar technology that generates power from both sides of the panel, which significantly enhances energy output compared to traditional modules, according to a company statement.
The statement indicated that Saatvik Green Energy has received and accepted an order totaling ₹171.45 crore for a domestic independent power producer.
Prashant Mathur, CEO of Saatvik Green Energy, remarked, “Being selected to supply modules for a domestic independent power producer of this magnitude at one of India’s most important solar sites is a meaningful endorsement of what we have built.”
Saatvik Green Energy is recognized as one of India’s premier manufacturers of solar photovoltaic modules, with a robust presence in utility-scale, commercial and industrial, EPC, and distributed solar sectors. The company operates a 4.8-GW module manufacturing facility in Ambala, Haryana, and is developing a greenfield integrated manufacturing facility in Odisha with a capacity of 4 GW for modules and 4.8 GW for solar cells.
