Bhubaneswar: Senior officers of the Indian Police Service, Sanjeeb Panda and Yeshwant Kumar Jethwa, have been elevated to the rank of Director General of Police (DGP).
The Odisha Chief Minister, Mohan Charan Majhi, endorsed the promotion proposal for both officers on Monday.
These promotions come as part of a broader elevation of senior IPS officials to the DGP grade, following the government’s approval.
The changes are set to take effect in line with the relevant government directives.
