Six IPS officers from the 1995 batch have received new appointments in various senior roles within paramilitary forces and the Intelligence Bureau, as approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.
Sanjeeb Panda and Yeshwant Kumar Jethwa have received promotions to the rank of Director General of Police, as confirmed by the Odisha Chief Minister.
The Union Public Service Commission will convene on August 7 to identify three candidates for the Director General of Police role in Odisha, ahead of the current DGP’s retirement.
