Cuttack: An 18-year-old named Aditya Narayan Panda has been unaccounted for over 12 hours after being carried away by strong currents while swimming in the Taladanda Canal on Tuesday. Search efforts resumed this morning after being halted yesterday evening due to darkness.

Reports indicate that Aditya was bathing in the canal with friends when the incident occurred. Despite ongoing attempts to find him, authorities have yet to determine his location.

Following his disappearance, a search operation was initiated by Fire Services personnel. However, the team was forced to suspend their efforts last night as visibility diminished.

Early Wednesday morning, the search operations recommenced, but despite extensive efforts, Aditya’s whereabouts remain unknown.

Authorities continue to work diligently to locate the missing youth.
