In a startling incident, two thieves have reportedly stolen a Defender vehicle worth Rs. 1.5 crore while pretending to take it for a test drive in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. After the theft, a police complaint was filed, prompting law enforcement to act swiftly. The thieves abandoned the high-value vehicle and fled the scene.

Police recovered the vehicle near the Khurda Godipada toll gate. It is reported that the thieves sent a message to the owner before leaving the vehicle behind. According to reports, the two suspects arrived in a red car, which they left behind and took the Defender for a test drive.

Following the theft, an investigation began, revealing that the red car had been rented from a car rental service. The robbers, believed to be from Bihar, took the Defender and disappeared. Authorities are currently searching for the suspects and reviewing CCTV footage from the area, suspecting that a professional gang may be involved in this significant theft.
