Jharsuguda: Vedanta Aluminium’s contemporary residential community, Vedanta Meadows, has been awarded the MK Raut Pollution Control Appreciation Award – 2026 in the Industrial Township category by the Odisha State Pollution Control Board (OSPCB).

This accolade underscores Vedanta’s commitment to environmentally sustainable practices within its operations and employee housing, showcasing elements such as sustainable architectural design, extensive greenery, and sophisticated environmental management systems.

In addition to its operational efforts, Vedanta has initiated awareness campaigns in educational institutions, launched the Matruban plantation initiative, and utilized technology to reduce emissions.
