In a distressing event, armed thieves reportedly stole gold jewelry and cash totaling ₹15 lakh from a residence in Dhenkanal, Odisha on Monday night.

The robbery took place in Saanda village, located within the Parjang police jurisdiction.

According to reports, the intruders broke into the home of Suresh Chandra Pani and threatened his family with weapons.

After violently assaulting the family members, the assailants fled with the valuables.

Upon learning of the situation, the Parjang police quickly arrived at the scene and commenced an investigation.

A manhunt is currently underway to apprehend the suspects.
