In a startling incident in the Kantabanji area of Balangir district, Odisha, a wild elephant invaded a home, resulting in injuries to four people and instilling fear among residents. The event took place in the Muribahal region of the Kantabanji forest range.

Reports indicate that the elephant forcefully entered the house of Lingaraj Bhoi while his family was asleep at night, leaving the structure in ruins.

As family members attempted to escape the rampaging elephant, four individuals sustained injuries. Neighbors promptly transported the victims to Bhima Bhoi Hospital in Balangir for medical attention.

The incident has profoundly unsettled the residents of Sargula village. Following the disturbance, officials from the Forest Department arrived on-site after being alerted about the attack.
