Baleshwar: Four individuals were injured when a tourist bus, carrying approximately 70 passengers, crashed into two vehicles in the Simulia area of Odisha’s Baleshwar district on Wednesday.

Initial reports indicate that the incident occurred near the electricity office at Markona, which falls under the jurisdiction of Simulia Police Station, as the bus was en route to Puri.

The bus collided with an SUV and another car while traveling along National Highway 16 in the district.

Fortunately, the bus passengers escaped with minor injuries, but four occupants of the SUV were injured in the crash.

Local residents promptly assisted the injured individuals and transported them to the Community Health Centre (CHC) at Simulia.

Upon receiving the news, a team from Simulia Police Station arrived at the scene to investigate the accident.
