Bhubaneswar: This evening, rain along with lightning and thunderstorms is expected to impact at least 13 districts in Odisha, including Bhubaneswar, according to a nowcast warning from the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
In a notification released at 4:10 PM, the IMD issued a yellow warning for Khordha (which encompasses Bhubaneswar), Baleshwar, Kendujhar, Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Puri, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Anugul, and Kendrapara districts for the next three hours. These areas may experience rain, lightning, and thunderstorms during this time frame.
Additionally, similar alerts were issued for the districts of Cuttack, Jharsuguda, Bhadrak, and Jagatsinghpur for the same duration.
