In Balangir district of Odisha, a significant operation targeting illegal sand mining was executed. Officials conducted raids at multiple sand ghats throughout the district, resulting in the confiscation of ten Hyva trucks involved in the unlawful transportation of sand.

Sources indicate that the drivers of the seized trucks have been detained for questioning, and an investigation is currently in progress.
