Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) has announced an extension for the admission deadline for both institution- and college-level admissions under OJEE-2026 to September 14.

This decision, communicated through a notice on August 22, encompasses admissions for first-year courses and lateral-entry programs.

The extension follows a notification from the Skill Development and Technical Education (SDTE) Department of the Odisha government, which was issued on August 21. It aligns with the academic schedule set by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

OJEE authorities have confirmed that counselling portals for students and participating institutions are now active. Colleges and institutions have been instructed to ensure that all admission processes are finalized before the new deadline.

Moreover, officials have stated that no further extensions will be permitted beyond September 14, 2026.
