At the 40th anniversary celebration for designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, held in Mumbai on September 6, she donned an eye-catching red saree that highlighted exquisite craftsmanship and timeless design.
The deep crimson saree featured a luxurious, textured finish and intricate geometric patterns along the border and pallu, enhancing the overall visual appeal of the solid fabric. The striking red color added a festive and regal touch to her ensemble.
Nita complemented the saree with a full-sleeved blouse that showcased detailed embroidery, creating a harmonious look. The elaborate sleeves contributed an additional layer of artistry to her outfit.

Since their partnership began in 1986, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla have established themselves as leading figures in the couture industry, recognized for modernizing traditional crafts like Chikankari, Zardozi, mirror work, and Resham embroidery. Their anniversary also coincided with the launch of Mubarak Baug, a 20,000-square-foot flagship store located in Mumbai’s historic Framjee Cawasjee Institute, which showcases couture, jewelry, archival pieces, art, and craft, celebrating the designers’ four-decade legacy.
