Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Mohan Bhagwat is set to inaugurate a new sports complex and auditorium on August 8 in Maharashtra’s Buldhana district. This facility, constructed at an investment of approximately Rs 2 crore, is located within a school operated by a charitable trust aimed at benefiting children from the Pardhi community.
Dr. Ayushi Deshmukh, the president of the Shri Sadguru Dutt Religious and Charitable Trust based in Indore, shared details with the media on Tuesday. She noted that the trust has been managing the ‘Suryaodaya Pardhi Samaj Adivasi Ashram Vidyalaya’ in Khamgaon for over a decade.
Bhagwat originally laid the foundation for the sports complex and auditorium in 2018 and will return to officially open the facility this Saturday, according to Deshmukh.
The school currently educates around 4,000 children from the Pardhi community and other underprivileged backgrounds, who have also been achieving notable success in sports, Deshmukh added.
