The 1975 batch of Harihar High School celebrated their Golden Jubilee reunion on campus, a heartfelt event that brought 50 years of shared memories back to life. Organized by alumnus and former Station Director of All India Radio, Berhampur, Hrushikesh Panigrahi, the grand gathering turned the school campus into a vibrant scene of cherished moments and camaraderie. Adding grace to the occasion, retired teachers Ganesh Rath and Yudhishthira Dora, along with the present Headmaster Ramakanta Mohanty, graced the program as distinguished guests.
Their presence evoked deep reverence, as former students fondly revisited the golden corridors of their youth, reliving cherished moments etched in time.
Amidst laughter, nostalgia, and heartfelt exchanges, the alumni paid glowing tributes to the institution’s rich academic legacy, acknowledging how the nurturing environment of Harihar High School sculpted their journeys to success across diverse fields, both within the State and beyond. The event flourished through the dedicated efforts of Ramaranjan Panda, P Ramarao Patro, and Sanjeeb Patra, while a host of distinguished alumni, including Rajendra Kumar Sahu, Abhimanyu Sahu, Satyanarayana Patra, Raghupati Patra, Nrusingha Charan Das, Suresh Kumar Mahapatra, Kameswar Achari, Ram Sharan Mahapatra, Pradipta Bishoyi, Subrata Panigrahi, and Rabindra Patra, added to the grandeur of the reunion.
Wives of the alumni also participated. Notably, many participants who have carved a niche at national and international arenas shared their inspiring journeys, reflecting with pride on how Harihar High School once stood as a beacon of excellence in Odisha, radiating its glory far beyond State boundaries.
The reunion concluded on a poignant note, leaving behind a trail of rekindled friendships, revived memories, and an enduring bond with the alma mater, an institution that continues to shine as a timeless sanctuary of learning and legacy.
