Bhubaneswar: In a notable initiative, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi engaged in the Special Intensive Revision-2026 (SIR-2026) campaign in his home village, setting a commendable example for the community.

The Chief Minister completed the enumeration form for voter list revision at his residence in Raikala village, with the Booth Level Officer (BLO) of the Raikala booth providing the necessary form. This process was conducted smoothly in the presence of Keonjhar District Collector and District Election Officer, Vishal Singh.

Majhi’s active involvement in this vital exercise is anticipated to convey a positive message to the public, encouraging citizens to ensure their voter information is accurate and up-to-date.

The district administration has urged all eligible voters to participate enthusiastically in the SIR-2026 campaign to achieve a completely error-free and transparent voter list.

Furthermore, the administration has requested the public’s full cooperation with BLOs who are conducting door-to-door visits during the revision process.

This initiative, carried out under the guidance of the Election Commission of India, aims to create a clean and accurate electoral roll ahead of upcoming elections.
