In Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha, a truck was engulfed in flames late last night on Ekamra Kanan Road in the CRP area. The front section of the vehicle was entirely consumed by the fire, although the reason behind the blaze has yet to be determined.

Witnesses reported that the truck unexpectedly caught fire while on the road, with flames quickly spreading and engulfing the front end of the vehicle.

Emergency responders, including personnel from Maitri Vihar Police Station and the Chandrasekharpur Fire Services, arrived promptly and managed to control the fire.

Authorities are still investigating whether the fire was the result of an electrical short circuit or if it was intentionally set. To aid in the inquiry, police are reviewing CCTV footage from the vicinity.

Fortunately, the truck was empty at the time, preventing any loss of cargo.

Additionally, there have been reports of over three vehicles catching fire in the same area in the past month, which has raised alarm about these recurring incidents.

The police are actively looking into this latest occurrence to ascertain if it was an accident or involved any malicious intent.
