Puri: The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration has celebrated a significant milestone with the upcoming trademark recognition of five sacred names associated with Mahaprabhu Lord Jagannath.

This initiative marks an important step in preserving the sacred traditions, culture, and heritage of the renowned Shree Jagannath Temple located in Puri, Odisha. Recently, five trademark applications related to Mahaprabhu received approval for publication in the forthcoming Trademark Journal.

Following the completion of the second phase of review by the Trademark Registry, the approved names include: Jagannath Dham, Shrikshetra, Mahaprasad, Neelachakra, and Koili Vaikuntha.

Once these names are published, any unauthorized commercial use will be strictly prohibited.

Currently, several businesses and organizations have been using these sacred names for their own profit. However, with the new trademark registration, such unauthorized exploitation will be completely halted, ensuring that no private entity can misuse these names for commercial purposes.

Arabinda Padhee, the Chief Administrator of Shree Mandira, emphasized that these approvals represent a crucial move to protect the sacred names and traditions linked to Mahaprabhu Shree Jagannath. He noted that this action will also safeguard the cultural and spiritual rights associated with Shree Mandira.
