Anugola: A truck driver lost his life when his vehicle, loaded with iron rods, overturned in the Palalahada region of Odisha’s Anugola district.

The incident occurred near Jogimunda Chowk on National Highway 49 around midnight on Sunday.

Reports indicate that the truck was traveling from Sundargada to Kendujhar when it unexpectedly tipped over. The driver was pinned beneath the heavy iron rods and succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Authorities have not yet confirmed his identity.

Upon notification of the accident, emergency response teams from the fire department and police quickly arrived at the location to recover the body trapped under the iron rods.

The investigation into the exact cause of the accident is ongoing.
