Oasis Fertility, a prominent name in reproductive medicine in India, has successfully completed a tour across various states, including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Jharkhand over the past five months. The initiative, known as the Oasis Janani Yatra, has returned to Andhra Pradesh, making a stop in Tirupati to promote fertility awareness. This movement seeks to deliver expert guidance and early screening directly to communities in Tier I, II, and III regions.
As fertility issues rise due to lifestyle changes, delayed parenthood, and a lack of scientific knowledge, the Oasis Janani Yatra bus offers free fertility consultations, AMH and hemoglobin tests, semen analysis, and hygienic sample collection zones. This ensures that couples receive timely and compassionate guidance. Following Tirupati, the Janani Yatra will proceed to Kadiri and other areas to extend its outreach.
Dr. Shreehari, Chairman of the Director of Medical Education, commented, “After journeying across the country to eight different states, the Oasis Janani Yatra has returned to Andhra Pradesh to continue its mission. With the state’s declining TFR, the only way to combat the fertility crisis is with awareness and accessibility. By reaching out to these communities with science and compassion, the Oasis Janani Yatra empowers families to make the right choices, touching their hearts in the process.”
Dr. Durga G. Rao, Medical Director and Co-founder of Oasis Fertility, stated, “As fertility science continues to evolve, the Oasis Janani Yatra brings information about advanced, evidence-based reproductive care to the core of communities and has already reached hundreds of people across the country.”
In light of declining fertility rates and progressive measures being taken in states like Andhra Pradesh to support families, including encouraging couples to consider having more children, timely awareness and access to appropriate medical guidance are increasingly vital. By offering early medical guidance, the initiative helps aspiring parents begin their journey toward parenthood.
Mr. Pushkaraj Shenai, CEO of Oasis Fertility, emphasized, “As India’s fertility rate continues to fall, accessible, timely reproductive care is more important than ever. Through the Oasis Janani Yatra, we’ve been strengthening the reach of the Good Hands of Science with expert counseling, early diagnostics, and guided support at the grassroots level. Now, we continue our journey so that aspiring couples can make informed decisions about their next steps.”
Dr. Pallavi Tapala, Fertility Specialist at Oasis Fertility, added, “It’s been almost a year since we began this Oasis Janani Yatra, and the overwhelming response has been remarkable. It shows that couples deeply value the right guidance. We hope to ensure timely information and compassionate support to more people in the local community who still face challenges in understanding fertility issues and available advanced treatments.”
