Asutosh Padhy Wins 2026 10-Red Snooker Championship

Bhubaneswar: The BSAO All Odisha Open 10-Red Snooker Championship 2026 concluded with an exhilarating finish as Asutosh Padhy, affectionately referred to as the ‘Prince of Odisha,’ claimed the title after defeating Aakash Mohapatra 4-2 on Wednesday. The final took place at the 6 Pockets Club, featuring impressive cue skills, with Padhy showcasing his composure and precision throughout the frames (53-41, 24-35, 57-06, 55-37, 33-34, 56-01).

Padhy received a champion’s prize of Rs 15,000 and a winner’s medal, while Mohapatra took home Rs 7,500 as the runner-up. The tournament also recognized the strong performances of semifinalists Dr. Rakesh Roshan Pradhan and Capt. Chetan Anand, who each earned Rs 5,000. Additionally, Nishant Biswal achieved the highest break of the championship with a score of 44 points, earning him Rs 2,500. The prize distribution ceremony was attended by prominent officials, including BSAO Secretary Sameer Ali, Tournament Director Govind Sharma, and club owner Chetan Anand.

Organizing executive Ritwick Mohanty played a significant role in the event’s success. President Tara Ranjan Pattnaik congratulated all participants, while Govind Sharma expressed appreciation to the players, supporters, and media for contributing to the championship’s success.
