Bhubaneswar: Aanika Pattnaik, a rising star in Wushu from Odisha, has once again made the nation proud by earning one silver and one bronze medal at the renowned Batumi International Wushu Championships, which took place in Batumi, Georgia, from July 29 to August 4, 2026. Competing for team India, Aanika exhibited remarkable skills against a formidable international lineup. She won the silver medal in the Sub-Junior Girls’ Single Weapon event and secured a bronze in the Wing Chun category, concluding her campaign with two impressive podium finishes.
Aanika’s outstanding performance is a testament to her years of dedicated training, technical prowess, and relentless determination.
