Indian stock markets are anticipated to be influenced by specific companies on Tuesday as investors keep an eye on corporate news, order wins, acquisitions, capacity expansions, and shifts in management.

The semi-annual rebalancing of the Nifty index is also set to take effect at the end of trading today.

In this reshuffle, BSE will replace Wipro in the Nifty 50 index, effective after trading concludes on September 29.

Shareholders of Ambuja Cements and ACC are convening to discuss and approve the proposed merger, a move that could significantly impact the cement sector and corporate frameworks.

Prasol Chemicals has reported impressive year-on-year growth in its consolidated results for the first quarter of FY27, with revenue surging to Rs 434 crore from Rs 320 crore—a 36 percent increase. EBITDA rose dramatically by 120 percent to Rs 90 crore from Rs 41 crore, improving the EBITDA margin from 12.8 percent to 20.8 percent. The profit after tax jumped by 154 percent to Rs 61 crore, compared to Rs 24 crore last year.

Rays of Belief has reported revenue of Rs 25 crore, a 137 percent increase from Rs 11 crore year-on-year. Its EBITDA has grown to Rs 5 crore from Rs 1 crore, and the margin has jumped to 19.5 percent from 5.4 percent, leading to a profit of Rs 3 crore compared to a loss of Rs 1 crore in the same period last year.

Honasa Consumer, known for its Mamaearth brand, is expected to see a block deal valued at around Rs 400 crore, with approximately 89 lakh shares changing hands at a floor price close to Rs 450 per share, which is about 3.4 percent lower than the current market price. This transaction could involve the sale of a stake of up to 2.73 percent, with Sequoia Capital and Peak XV Partners potentially among the sellers.

NCC has been awarded a Rs 1,077 crore contract by the Andhra Pradesh government for a drinking water supply project from the Yeleru Reservoir, with a completion timeline of 24 months. The contract award letter was received on September 26.

The Indian Railway Finance Corporation has entered into a Rs 4,200 crore loan agreement with Damodar Valley Corporation to fund renewable energy initiatives in Jharkhand and West Bengal.

Ellenbarrie Industrial Gases has secured a Rs 480.73 crore order from BHEL for a cryogenic air separation unit in Jharsuguda, Odisha. Lloyds Metals and Energy’s subsidiary, Thriveni Earthmovers, issued 3.50 crore new shares at Rs 173.36 each, totaling an investment of Rs 606.76 crore. As a result, Lloyds Metals’ stake has risen to 71.89 percent.

Allcargo Logistics announced that Ketan Kulkarni will resign as MD and CEO on December 31, 2026, transitioning to the role of Chief Growth Officer from January 1, 2027. Vijay Nehra is set to take over as MD and CEO, pending shareholder approval.

Sagar Cements’ subsidiary, Andhra Cements, has successfully completed the expansion of its grinding capacity at the Dachepalli plant in Andhra Pradesh, increasing capacity from 1.82 MTPA to 3 MTPA, which raises the total cement manufacturing capacity of the group to 11.75 MTPA.
