Cuttack: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, announced on Tuesday a revision to the schedule for the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET), 2026, delaying the examination by one week.

As per the notification released by the board, the OTET will now take place on June 28, 2026, instead of the previously scheduled date of June 21.

The board specified that Paper-I will be conducted from 9 am to 11:30 am, while Paper-II will take place from 2 pm to 4:30 pm on the same day.

Candidates planning to take the examination can download their admit cards starting June 17 from the official BSE Odisha website.

The Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test serves as a state-level qualifying exam for individuals seeking to become teachers in primary and upper-primary schools throughout the state.

The board has advised candidates to frequently check the official website for updates and additional instructions regarding the examination.
